ටෙලි ගම්මානයක් තිස්සමහාරාමයේදී ඉදි වේ

2008 සැප්තැම්බර් මාසයේදී තිස්සමහාරාම, රනමිහ්තැන්න ප්‍රදේශයේදී ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ටෙලිනාට්‍ය කලාවේ දියුණුව උදෙසා නව ටෙලි ගම්මානයක් සදහා මුල්ගල් තැබිණ. මෙහිදී ටෙලි නාට්‍ය, චිත්‍රපට ඇතුළු විවධ අවශ්‍යතා සපුරාලිය හැකි පරිදි, නවීණ පහසුකම් වලින් යුතු ටෙලි ගම්මානයක් පරිදි වැඩ අවසන් කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වේ. මෙහි ඉදිකරීම් කටයුතු 2010 වන විට අවසන් කල ඇකි බව මුල් ගල් තැබීමේ උළෙළ ඇමතු, උළෙලේ ප්‍රධාන අමුත්තාවු වරාය/ සිවිල් ගුවන් සේවා/ ජල කළමණාකරණ අමාත්‍ය ගරු චමල් රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතු පැවසූහ. මෙම අවස්ථාව සදහා දේශිය කලාකරුවන් බොහේ පිරිසක් සහභාගී වුහ.

Japaneis Social workers met in Bandaranayake International Air Port

Mr. Michiya Tominaga/ Alexandra Gellin and their workers team visited in Sri Lanka, Past August. Here is some memorable pictures. They are here for 03 days workshop, held in several places in Kurunegala district to develop rural village women skills.

in past Octomber 27 and 28, Telecentre family organized weCAN workshop for the telecentre operator who active participate with TCF in Sri Lanka.

in year 2005 Sarvodaya and ICTA Sri Lnka with telecentre.org from Canada created Telecentre family network in Sri Lanka.

The important ceromony held at Sarvodaya Head Quaters. There have a some photos, and identifyed problums telecentre operator faced at their villeges.

This is the final session of this workshop. Dr. Harsha asked the group representatives to present the problem at which his or her group looked and explain the solutions with which they came up.

*** The problem we identified was the lack of participation by people. We have too little technology for the village. We decided that to get past this we need to give information about this through a printed document. We made a poster to present our work to the village. I told everyone that we would hand out the leaflet to every villager, but realized this was not practical. Instead we should distribute it to a targeted group. Our team has more participants from the “Virtual Village” project and so we actually looked at the question from only a narrow viewpoint so I think we need to address a broader spectrum.


*** The problem we addressed was that neither we nor our Telecenters are developed enough. Our poster has a bird flying at the top. This is to represent how we would progress. We need to create this development and through it, develop the people

*** IT is not at the required level of development and we lack media exposure. We decided that we really need to use the TV and radio for this and distribute leaflets and talk at schools. We need to go to villages and talk about it. We can’t really access the TV and radio by ourselves so we have to really get our mother institutions, Sarvodaya or something else, involved with this process. Also, it is important that all Telecenter operators do this publicity work at the village level through things like leaflets.

*** Our problem was that people do not know how to use IT for their daily needs. I explained a lot to people about what we meant by daily needs. I think the best way is to improve the knowledge of the villagers about this.

Do somthing to my people

Dear All,

I'm writing on here, little bit later. But I'm touch with every time on my Friends, who use blogger.com.

Isura Silva and me discuss about the how can improve the Telecentre Family in Sourthern province in near future. He got some good idias. He told me at the movment their planing to held weCAN workshop for Sourthern Province Telecentre operators. It is good news to SPTCF operators.

Michiya Tominaga's

Michiya Tomanga is a very keen person from Japan. Also he is a Therawadi Buddhist, work as a ICT Engineer in he's mother country. He will hope to come Sri Lanka and do some valueble things to the Sri Lankan.

Last few days he done valuble thing for me. I did need translate english content to the Japaneis language with the above font. He done very well things very well as I need.

Maha Rawana Lighthouse - Kirinda, Tissamaharama.

The Maha Rawana Tower located in Kirinda city, Tissamaharama. It's a one of the major light house build at sea in Sri Lanka. If you need to going this wonderfull place, you have ride see boat 12 Km away from the Kirinda beach. Another importent thing is, December/ January and February only can go to visit this unprecedented lighthouse. This is really adeventure for the local and foign vistors.
